We take reservations for lunch,afternoon tea and dinner. To make a reservation, please call us at (01668) 215 244 between 10am-10pm, Monday to Sunday.

We do not book some tables in the bar area – we leave this for walk-in guests to ensure that we always offer some tables for those who have not booked.

Private Dining & Events

Whatever your event or celebration, we are here to make your special day atruly memorable one. Roy’s room is a private dining area for parties of 10-16 and we are more than happy to create custom floral arrangements and arrange for guests to meet Chef Alistair during the course of their meal. For parties of 20 we have the dining room which is available for private hire and for parties of 20-50 we have the Function Room.

A local Alwnick lad originally from Longframlington, Alistair started his career at 16 with Embleton Hall one of the regions top wedding venues at that time and since then has worked the last 15 years under the supervision of some of the regions best chefs including time spent in local highly regarded establishments such as Alnwick Castle & Treehouse Restaurant, before taking his first head chef position at Bistro 46 Jesmond which became successful in a very short time. Seasonal produce sourced locally as possible cooked in British classic recipes with a modern bistro French influence is his cuisine.

Trevor has now well over 20 years experience in luxury hospitality and has a varied background from Bank of England to local councillor. Regaining his old partnership with Alistair as his Head Chef has proven to be a great recipe for success with the venue now winning awards year on year.



Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening, we’re offering groups of 10 or more that book Roy’s Table in our dining room a complimentary bottle of Prosecco.
